The 2014 Nissan Altima may be a sedan, but from a performance standpoint, it’s a lot closer to a race car than you may think.
At least that’s the message Nissan wants you take away from its “Ride of Your Life” campaign. In the video above, you can watch what appears to be an Altima race car zipping around the Willow Springs Raceway … only it isn’t a race car at all. It’s a 2014 Nissan Altima sedan.
“The ‘Ride of Your Life’ campaign shows off the performance DNA that lives inside every Nissan and will help engage consumers nationwide, creating positive, lively conversation online and in person as we enter upon our year-end sales event,” said Jon Brancheau, vice president of marketing communications and media at Nissan North America. “With a blend of performance, technology, superior fuel economy and more, Nissan vehicles are intended to give drivers the ride of their lives.”
A number of high-profile members contributed to the commercial, including “Transformers,” “Spiderman” and “Iron Man 2” production designer Page Buckner. You can find out more about the campaign, as well as the 2014 Altima, here.
